My name is Kristen. I’m an adventure and trail running photographer based in Boulder, Colorado.

I was adopted from China as an infant, raised in Colorado, and then spent 12 years in Los Angeles working in film and TV production. I moved back to Colorado to spend more time in the mountains while pursuing a passion for photography and a career in data science.

I love being active, from running to biking to skiing and everything in between. When I’m not out and about, I enjoy reading, watching TV shows, knitting, doing crosswords and cooking.

I’m stoked to spend this one and precious life chasing dreams, creating memories, and photographing stories all over the world.

After the sun came up, things quickly heated up at @javelinajundred! The temp rose to the high 90s as runners embarked on multiple 20 mile loops in the desert. I alternated between venturing a little onto the course and wandering around Jeadquarters.
